It all started in 2006...
The idea of running a preschool first came to me while planning for my own family. I read and learned about incidents of children being mistreated in the care of others, which deeply concerned me. This sparked a vision—to create a safe, nurturing environment where children could thrive. This vision led me to consider starting my own school—a place where I could care for my own children during their formative years while still pursuing a fulfilling career.
With this goal in mind, I took a proactive approach to explore early childhood education programmes. The Montessori method immediately stood out to me. Its proven, child-centered approach and emphasis on holistic development resonated deeply with my values and aspirations. Inspired by its principles, I decided to pursue a course in Montessori Methodology & Pedagogy to gain the necessary expertise.
After completing my training, I made the bold decision to leave the corporate world and embark on a new career as a preschool teacher, gaining experience across local and international kindergartens. These experiences provided me with invaluable insights and hands-on knowledge, allowing me to refine my understanding of early childhood education and develop a comprehensive syllabus rooted in the Montessori method.
With this foundation, I was ready to bring my vision to life. Spring Montessori House was established with the mission of providing a nurturing, enriching, and stimulating environment where children can learn, flourish and grow with confidence.

I conceived the idea about running a preschool when planning for a family. Read and knew about incidents whereby children were being mistreated under the care of others. Thus, the idea of setting up my own school comes about where I would have the opportunity to care for my own children and see them grow up during those tender years while not being a full-time homemaker.
With the idea in mind, I took a proactive approach to search for a suitable preschool programme. Montessori method catches my eyes as its approach is well proven, child-centered and children can develop holistically, which I then pursue the course in Montessori Methodology & Pedagogy.
After graduating, I decided to leave the corporate world and started my career as a preschool teacher. Through years working with several school from local kindergarten to international kindergarten, I’ve gained the necessary experience and knowledge to develop a syllabus using the Montessori method of education before setting up Spring Montessori House.
